*Consortiq will no longer be offering ProQual accreditation on it's courses*

Who is ProQual?

ProQual Awarding Body was born out of the desire to give industries the opportunity of having the most up to date, often unique and most relevant qualifications for their employees. All of their Qualifications are industry driven and regulated by Ofqual, the Governing Body in England.

What do I need to get a Level 3 Certificate?

All candidates will automatically be enrolled to receive the Level 3 Certificate upon successful completion of the Unmanned Aircraft Qualification (UAQ) course. This includes both the Ground School and Flight Assessment exams. The cost of the Certificate is reflected in the UAQ price.

What do I need to get a Level 4 Diploma?

From May 1st 2017, after successfully completing the UAQ drone training course, candidates who go on to complete an Operations Manual will be eligible for a Level 4 Diploma for no additional cost.

Who can get this qualification?

From the 1st April 2017, all candidates will automatically be enrolled to receive the Level 3 Certificate upon successful completion of the Ground School and Flight Assessment of the UAQ.

Any of our past candidates and graduates are able to apply for the Level 3 Certificate or Level 4 Diploma retrospectively simply by paying the applicable admin fees. Level 4 Diplomas will also require candidates to resit an updated exam. The exam can be taken through our online learning portal and there is no requirement for you to retake the exam at one of our venues.

What does this qualification mean?

The UAQ is the first qualification of its kind to be aviation regulator accredited by the CAA and academically accredited by OfQual, awarded by ProQual AB. It’s an academic recognition of the capabilities as a drone pilot that is translatable and equivalent in ability to any other Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in the UK and worldwide.

How to apply

All candidates making a booking from the 1st of April 2017 will automatically be enrolled to receive the Level 3 certificate. To apply for the Level 4 Diploma upon completion of the Operations Manual, you will need to complete the form below, and pay the applicable admin fee.  Any candidates applying for a Level 3 or 4 retrospectively must complete an application form and make a payment of the applicable admin fees.

Our courses are designed to prepare you for your FAA Aeronautical Knowledge Test.
“I recently attended a Drone Flight Essentials course with Consortiq, the course included about 4 hours as Remote Pilot In Command and 4 hours as a Visual Observer. Lots of ATTI (Attitude mode) practice which gave me confidence to fly without GPS. I also learned to use Sport Mode to help with high winds at aloft. All good exercises which I will use to practice on my own. For example, precision flying over cones, flying circles, smooth descent from 140 feet. Plus emergency drills, like disconnecting the tablet and getting the drone back. All the things that are better to learn in a controlled environment with a very experienced pilot.”
