Last month we showcased our fantastic new CQNet software at the AUVSI XPONENTIAL trade show in Dallas - to great response, we might add! For those who couldn’t make it to the trade show, we’re going to take you through some of CQNet’s most useful and important features, including a range of functions that are transforming safety management.

CQNet is a safety management tool for all your Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Partnering up with drone services platform, Altitude Angel, as well as technology giants, IBM, the team here at Consortiq has created one of the world’s most advanced flight planning and operational tools available to the public. It’s currently available as both a desktop portal and an iPhone app, so with the right gadgets, you can access your dashboard from absolutely anywhere (CQNet isn’t currently available on Android, but rest assured that it will be soon).

Together with UAS  services platform, Altitude Angel and technology leaders, IBM, CQNet has been created by the most innovative minds in the sector, combining each company's area of expertise to create the advanced flight planning and operational tool. Further development stages see the foremost drone consultant company also working closely with IBM Watson to introduce Artificial Intelligence to the software in future releases.

Features of CQNet
The benefits of CQNet are clear from the off – it’s the easiest and most efficient way to manage all of your UAS operations from the palm of your hand. One of the biggest advantages is the fact that CQNet allows users to say goodbye to paper logbooks and inefficient methods of recording – this digital solution is highly accurate and can be backed up in a multitude of different ways, so your flight logs will remain accessible and secure.

The Flight Operations Command Portal is the central hub of CQNet – it shows all of your UAS operations in real-time. This is also where you can plan and assess future flights – you can check the weather, assign your team, carry out the necessary safety procedures and put together pre- and post-flight checklists, all from this one central portal.

The UAS Management section of the app empowers users to plan, record and maintain their UAS to the highest safety standards. This flexible tool comes with a selection of different templates, so you can keep your maintenance documents and checklists all in one place.

CQNet taps into global Airspace Intelligence – this section of the software allows users to take an in-depth look into local conditions, from weather forecasts to flight restrictions and any other airspace details that might affect an upcoming planned flight. Users will also benefit from a Mission Planning section, which breaks down each and every mission and allows users to focus on each detail, from assigning the crew and choosing the aircraft itself, to carrying out operational flight checks that are crucial before each flight.

Quantifying risk, enhancing safety
CQNet’s range of features put an end to the piecing together of data from a variety of different sources – it offers optimum convenience for users. But enhancing safety sits at the heart of CQNet’s proposition. With real-time monitoring, the ability to manage all aspects of UAS operations from a single dashboard, and access to intelligence about global airspace, operators have everything they could possibly need to plan and execute safe, diligent UAS missions.
